Service: Horizontal Directional Drilling
Location: Jefferson County, Alabama
Scope: 800-foot HDD bore under a major county road for fiber optic conduit installation. 2-inch HDPE conduit installed for a regional broadband provider expanding service to underserved communities.
Result: Completed on schedule with zero road closures. Zero utility conflicts. Client successfully lit the fiber for service within 30 days.
Water Main Missile Boring — Huntsville, AL
Service: Missile Boring
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Scope: Multiple 4-inch water main crossings under residential streets in a new Huntsville subdivision development. 12 missile bore shots ranging from 40 to 90 feet each.
Result: All bores completed in 3 days. Subdivision water service installed without disrupting existing landscaping or driveways. Homebuilder praised the crew’s efficiency and clean work.
Jack and Bore Highway Crossing — Baldwin County, AL
Service: Jack and Bore
Location: Baldwin County, Alabama
Scope: 24-inch steel casing jack and bore under a state highway for a wastewater force main. 120-foot bore length requiring ALDOT permits and traffic management coordination.
Result: Bore completed safely within the permitted work window. No pavement settlement or lane closures beyond those specified in the permit. Municipality received sign-off from ALDOT within one week.
GPR Utility Locate — Mobile, AL
Service: Ground Penetrating Radar Utility Locating
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Scope: GPR scanning of a 2-acre commercial redevelopment site in downtown Mobile prior to site preparation. Identified 7 previously unmapped utilities including abandoned gas lines, conduit, and an old drainage pipe.
Result: Client avoided multiple utility strikes that could have caused project delays, regulatory violations, and safety incidents. Full utility map delivered with depth estimates and GPS coordinates.
Fiber Conduit Trenching — Montgomery, AL
Service: Trenching & Fiber Optic Conduit Installation
Location: Montgomery, Alabama
Scope: 3,200 linear feet of open-cut trenching for 2-inch and 4-inch HDPE conduit installation in a Montgomery commercial corridor. Project included conduit installation, bedding, backfill, and pavement repair.
Result: Entire project completed in 8 working days. Client’s telecom network was live ahead of their original schedule.
